Media Release 01/16/15-01/31/15

On Friday 1/16/2015, at approximately 2:19 AM, officer/s responded to Sugden Rd at Applewood Ln. for single vehicle crash vs. tree. The driver, a 24 yoa male from Palmyra, said that his passenger, a 23 yoa intoxicated female from Mukwonago, pulled on the steering wheel causing the crash. The subjects were issued citations for criminal damage to property, 1st degree reckless endangering safety, operating while suspended, riding in a vehicle without a seatbelt and disorderly conduct.

On Friday 1/16/2015, at approximately 3:48 PM, officer/s responded to CTH I near EHR Dr. for a car vs tree crash. The driver, a 68 yoa female from Waukesha, failed to negotiate the curve. The matter is under investigation

On Sunday 1/18/2015, at approximately 12:49 AM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on CTH NN near CTH E for a traffic violation. The driver, a 35 yoa male from Eagle, gave a false identity to the officers. The passenger, a 36 yoa female from Eagle, was taken into custody for a warrant. The subject was issued a citation for operating while suspended and obstructing an officer.

On Sunday 1/18/2015, at approximately 1:30 PM, officer/s responded to an address on Frog Alley Rd for a report of hit and run. The vehicle was left on scene against the utility pole it struck. The driver, a 43 yoa male from Mukwonago, said that he lost control when he dropped something off the seat and he reached for it. He admitted that he shouldn't be driving because he doesn't have a driver's license and that he should have reported the crash. The subject was issued a citation for failure to notify police of a crash and operating without a driver's license.

On Sunday 1/18/2015, at approximately 6:49 PM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on STH 83 near Saxony Ct. for an equipment violation. The driver, a 47 yoa male from Mukwonago, was the only occupant. The subject was issued a citation for operating without registration lamp and operating without a license.

On Sunday 1/18/2015, at approximately 7:11 PM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on STH 83 near Crossgate Dr. for a traffic violation. The driver, a 41 yoa male from Waukesha, who admitted to drinking 4 or 5 beers. Officers conducted field sobriety tests. The subject was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated. He was issued citations for deviation from lane of traffic and open intoxicants in the vehicle.

On Sunday 1/18/2015, at approximately 9:55 PM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on Sugden Rd at Claire Dr. for a traffic violation. The driver, a 33 yoa male from Mukwonago, said that he was unaware of his driver's license being suspended. The subject was issued a citation for operating while suspended.

On Monday 1/19/2015, at approximately 6:49 PM, officer/s responded to a residence in the northwest section of the town for suicidal subject. The subject, a 40 yoa male from Waukesha, took an unknown amount of pills. The subject was taken into custody for his own protection.

On Tuesday 1/20/2015, at approximately 5:08 AM, officer/s responded to CTH I near Kettle Ridge Rd. for a single vehicle crash vs tree. The driver, a 49 yoa male from Mukwonago, lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. The subject was issued a citation for speed to fast for conditions.

On Tuesday 1/20/2015, at approximately 5:24 AM, officer/s responded to CTH I near Kettle Ridge Rd. for a two vehicle crash. The driver, a 23 yoa male from Mukwonago, struck the vehicle in front of him when it slowed down. The subject was issued a citation for Speed to fast for conditions.

On Tuesday 1/20/2015, at approximately 6:23 AM, officer/s responded to STH 83 at CTH I for a single vehicle crash. The driver, a 61 yoa female from Mukwonago, failed to negotiate the roundabout. The matter is under investigation .

On Tuesday 1/20/2015, at approximately 6:48 AM, officer/s responded to CTH NN near Valley View Dr. for a two vehicle crash. The driver, a 16 yoa female from Eagle, lost control of her car and crossed traffic striking a school bus. The subject was issued a citation for speed to fast for conditions.

On Tuesday 1/20/2015, at approximately 7:10 AM, officer/s responded to CTH EE at Sugden Rd. for a single vehicle crash. The driver, a 16 yoa male from Mukwonago, failed to negotiate the curve. The subject was issued a citation for speed to fast for conditions.

On Wednesday 1/21/2015, at approximately 7:40 AM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on CTH E at Valley View Dr. for a traffic violation. The driver, a 33 yoa male from Mukwonago, said that he was aware of his driver's license being suspended. The subject was issued a citation for speeding, obstructed view and operating while suspended.

On Wednesday 1/21/2015, at approximately 2:05 PM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on Maple Ave. for a traffic violation. The driver, a 44 yoa female from Mukwonago, said that she was aware of the violations. The subject was issued a citation for defective exhaust, obstructed view and operating without a valid driver's license.

On Wednesday 1/21/2015, at approximately 4:49 PM, officer/s responded to CTH NN at CTH I for a hit and run crash involving two cars. The vehicle that remained on scene was operated by a 26 yoa female from Mukwonago. She was issued a citation for failing to have insurance. The other driver, a 16 yoa female from Mukwonago, left the scene. The subject was issued a citation for leaving the scene and failing to yield right of way at a stop sign.

On Thursday 1/22/2015, at approximately 7:13 PM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on STH 83 at Saxony Ct. for a traffic violation. The driver, a 63 yoa male from Waukesha, denied speeding but admitted to drinking. The subject was taken into custody for Operating while intoxicated and issued a citation speeding.

On Friday 1/23/2015, at approximately 5:00 PM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on CTH I at Kettle Ridge Dr. for a traffic violation. The driver, a 29 yoa female from Mukwonago, didn't think she was going that fast. The subject was issued a citation for speeding and operating while suspended.

On Saturday 1/24/2015, at approximately 10:00 AM, officer/s took a report at a residence near Sugden Rd and Claire Dr. for fraud. The victim, a 74 yoa male from Mukwonago, said that he received a call asking for money be sent to Mexico to assist in releasing a nephews property from customs. The subject sent $1000.00. After getting a second request the victim called and checked on his family and discovered that he had been taken advantage of. No police action was taken.

On Saturday 1/24/2015, at approximately 7:58 PM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on CTH I at Sugden Rd. for a traffic violation. The driver, a 17 yoa male from Eagle, denied having anything illegal in the car even though the officers could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. The subject was taken into custody for possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possess drug paraphernalia, maintain a drug trafficking place and issued citations for operating without directional lamps/registration lamp and possession of tobacco by a minor.

On Monday 1/26/2015, at approximately 9:45 PM, officer/s responded to CTH E at CTH NN for a two vehicle crash. The driver, a 48 yoa male from Hartland, rear ended the vehicle in front of him as they approached the stop sign. The matter is under investigation .

On Tuesday 1/27/2015, at approximately 9:30 PM, officer/s responded to Phantom Lake for a vehicle that had gone through the ice. The driver, a 28 yoa male from North Prairie, broke through the ice and submerged midway into the passenger compartment. The matter is under investigation .

On Wednesday 1/28/2015, at approximately 11:00 AM, officer/s took a report from a resident on CTH I for theft of motor vehicle. The victim, a 51 yoa male from Mukwonago, reported that someone took his vehicle without permission. On Friday the 30th the Milwaukee Police Department recovered the vehicle. The suspect, a 33 yoa male from Mukwonago, was found in possession of the vehicle. The subject was taken into custody for auto theft.

On Thursday 1/29/2015, at approximately 6:46 PM, officer/s took a report at a residence near Sugden Rd. and Glen Way for domestic battery. The suspect, a 37 yoa male from Mukwonago, admitted to punching his 61 yoa father in the side. The subject was taken into custody for battery.

On Thursday 1/29/2015, at approximately 9:49 PM, officer/s responded to a residence on CTH I for an unknown medical alarm. The owner, a 81 yoa female from Mukwonago, had fallen and was unable to get up. Officers were required to force entry into the house to render aid. No police action was taken.

On Friday 1/30/2015, at approximately 5:18 PM, officer/s conducted a traffic stop on Point Dr. for a traffic violation. The driver, a 17 yoa female from Waukesha, said that her 18 yoa female passenger had just broken up with her boyfriend. When the officer asked about the smell of marijuana they said that they were trying to relax by smoking marijuana. The subjects were issued citations for impeding traffic, possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

On Friday 1/30/2015, at approximately 5:45 PM, officer/s took a report at a residence near CTH E and Milos Way for harassing/disorderly texts. The suspect, a 23 yoa female from Waukesha, admitted to sending the messages. No police action was taken. The suspect was warned about future charges if the activity continued.

On Saturday 1/31/2015, at approximately 11:10 PM, officer/s responded to CTH EE near Laurens Parkway for a two vehicle crash. The driver, a 17 yoa male from Mukwonago, slide across traffic and struck an oncoming vehicle. The matter is under investigation .
