The Town of Mukwonago is located in southwestern Waukesha County, population 7,951. Mukwonago offers picturesque views of Vernon Marsh State Wildlife area, Mukwonago County Park, Phantom Lake, Jericho Creek, Mukwonago and Fox Rivers. The Town of Mukwonago Police Department consist of six full-time and five part-time officers. The Department also employees one part-time clerical staff position. The Town patrols 32 square miles of area including patrols on Upper and Lower Phantom Lake.
